Unite was founded by four moms who wanted something different for their dancers and for their community. What began as conversations around a dining room table, surrounded by friendship, and encouragement, grew into a dream of creating a studio where every dancer could feel valued, supported, and inspired.
Today, that same heart continues to guide everything we do as we welcome families into a place built on connection, purpose, and the joy of dance.
Why Non-Profit?
Why a nonprofit? Because we wanted to build a dance studio that puts people before profit. Becoming a nonprofit allows us to reinvest every dollar into creating meaningful opportunities for our dancers, supporting families, and making dance more accessible to our community.
Our Mission
At Unite Dance Studio, we believe every child deserves a place where they feel seen, supported, and encouraged.
Through dance education, mentorship, and community, we strive to create an environment where dancers can build confidence, develop skills, and discover the joy of movement. We believe dance teaches lessons that extend far beyond the studio. Through commitment, teamwork, and perseverance, dancers gain skills that will support them both on and off the stage.
What Makes Unite Different?
Unite Dance Studio was created with the belief that dance should be a positive and meaningful experience for every child. As a nonprofit, volunteer-supported studio, we are focused on creating opportunities for dancers in a safe and welcoming environment. We intentionally maintain a welcoming environment where dancers can receive quality instruction, build friendships, and grow at their own pace.
Our goal is not only to teach dance technique, but also to help dancers develop confidence, responsibility, teamwork, and life skills that will stay with them long after they leave the studio.
